Mesi, Mesi!

We got some great news this week- a church back home in Dallas is raising money for Haiti! The children's and youth ministries at FBC Richardson are fundraising to support the work of TeacHaiti, a ministry that sponsors poor kids to go to good schools (there are basically zero good free public schools).

TeacHaiti sponsors kids' tuition, books, school supplies, uniforms, and even lunches. Education is a way out of crushing poverty, and we personally know and love the founder of TeacHaiti, Miquette Denie, who herself grew up in Haiti but through educational opportunities graduated from college in the States and became an RN. She's back in Haiti now, with over 150 kids sponsored.

Several of our favorite little Haitian kiddos living on campus are sponsored children, including our beloved Sarah!

Thank you, FBC Richardson kids and youth!
